Kaesha and Kannan Freyaldenhoven are siblings, and San Luis Obispo natives trained in First Aid Mental Health. As children of two local physicians, they have been raised with a vested interest in serving community members through health.

Kaesha Kannan

Kaesha Freyaldenhoven has loved dance since the tender age of two, spending countless hours in San Luis Obispo with the Ballet Theatre as a company member and in Chicago with Chicago Raas as Co-Captain. In June 2019, she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Chicago with a Bachelors in Art History and Masters of Arts Program in the Humanities with a focus in Cultural Policy. Her theses concentrated on arts within the public sphere as catalysts of social change. Kaesha is grateful to return to the lovely warmth of the Central Coast and get movin’ with a community of individuals who have contributed so much to her personal development.

Kannan Freyaldenhoven is a student at The University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in History and pre-medical curriculum. In Philadelphia, he enjoys teaching high school students about health and creating electronic music. Kannan has experience volunteering with the Noor Clinic in San Luis Obispo and playing the piano for the musical therapy program at Marian Hospital in Santa Maria. He is excited to start with MPOWER and feels humbled by the opportunity to say “Thank You” to his community from the DJ table.
